By way of short biography, I studied political philosophy at Harvard. I decided to become a lawyer after working with and seeing many truly humane and brilliant individuals who practiced law; after college I attended law school at the University of Texas. I clerked for a federal judge on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. After practicing for six years, I became Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and a few years later was elected a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Over the past few years, I have represented hundreds of clients and have tried more than 20 cases before judges, juries, and arbitrators.
Apart from the formal practice of law representing clients in various disputes, I remain active in my community as a member of the local and state bar associations and various community organizations. My interests and hobbies include fitness, psychology, anthropology, philosophy, finances, literature, writing, culture, and the law. In short, life.
